On 1st August 2004, a recreational area Lávka (Footbridge) Chocerady was newly opened. It is situated in the midst of beautiful nature of the Sázava River valley about 30 km from Prague. In the right riverbank, the valley opens to a steep built-up land and on the left riverbank, it is closed by a wooded slope with a manor Komorní Hrádek on its top.

ACCOMMODATION

An accommodation facility of hotel type with capacity of 46 beds + 8 beds in bungalows is at your disposal.
We offer: 1 x single room, 3 x double room, 5 x triple room and 6 x apartment - four bed room ( 2 rooms + sanitary facility), 2 x bungalow (4 beds each). Additional beds in rooms are possible. All rooms and bungalows are equipped with complete sanitary facilities. Room prices - see the pricelist.

TRAINING ROOM

In the recreational area, there is also a training hall, which offers all kinds of equipment to education, training, holding seminars, as well as different lectures. The capacity of the training hall is about 50 persons. In case of major interest, it is possible to use a possible interconnection with the adjacent recreational area Vaníček with the total capacity of about 100 persons.

BOARDING

The area includes also a restaurant, where it is possible to provide all-day catering for all guests. The full board price is 200 CZK/person; the half board costs 130 CZK/person.

SPORT

The area is cut out for sport self-realization with its tennis-court, volleyball ground, swimming pool, small football field and children's place. You can practise here the following activities as well: bathing in the Sázava River, fishing, hiring canoes, mountain bicycles hire-shop, campfire, billiard, table tennis, aerobic, and in the nearest future horse riding trips and lot of other sports.
We hold three-day combined trips (bicycle, canoe) - so-called FULL WEEKENDS.

CHILDREN

Our recreational centre is cut out for holding outdoor schools and kindergartens. In an enclosed piece of land, children have possibility to practise sports and play different games.


CULTURE, ENTERTAINMENT TRIPS TO THE SURROUNDINGS

The town of Chocerady is situated on the SÁZAVA CYCLE TRACK, which is 243 km long and is going from Davle to Nové Město na Moravě. We hold so-called FULL WEEKENDS - combined trips (bicycle, canoe). It is absolutely perfect environment for biking tourism fans of all age groups. Hikers don't come off badly, too - in Sázava River Region, there are many tourist paths destined to short and long walks.
Close to the area, there is a Renaissance chateau Komorní Hrádek, where guided tours take place during the season.
Not far from Chocerady, you can visit a chateau Konopiště and a beautiful golf course with eighteen holes.
Probably no one of water sports fans would omit the descent of the Sázava River. They may hire canoes here and for more experienced watermen, it is possible to hire even rafts.
We organize not only performances of various music groups, but we hold also different banquets, parties, discoth?ques, as well as dramatic performances for little children.

TRAFFIC CHANELS

If you take a highway D1 in the direction of Brno as far as to the EXIT 29 on the 29th km, after three kilometres you will come to the valley of the Sázava River, who runs through the town of Chocerady. Then, you cross the bridge and drive round the church to the right.
Bus
In Prague, you take metro line A to the terminus SKALKA. From there, buses go directly to Chocerady - travelling time is about one hour.
Train
In Prague, you take metro line C to the station HLAVNÍ NÁDRAŽÍ (MAIN RAILWAY STATION). From there, trains go to Chocerady via Čerčany - travelling time is about one hour and twenty minutes.
